[BUG-234264] In the viewer, the voice dot and lines can be drawn at the wrong position #11222

What just happened?

When I'm on a horse attachment in SL, my AV is sitting up high. My name tag is drawn properly, but the voice dot and green lines when talking are not

What were you doing when it happened?

Talking while sitting on a horse.   This is a "Water Horse" product and is an attachment (it can be rezzed in-world too)

What were you expecting to happen instead?

Voice dot and green lines to be drawn above my head.

Other information

Note that the name tag is OK - the viewer knows where my head is since it's drawing that in the proper spot, but the voice dot and lines are incorrect.    The attached image shows the green voice lines coming out my back, so the voice dot has been positioned too low

I don't have the Waterhorse to test but I doubt this is specific to the Material RC Viewer. This bug is old, well I'm not 100% sure it's even a bug as such. It often happens with quad avatars - the voice dot/waves often appear over the back end of a quad avatar, so you are literally talking out of your ass :D
I believe it happens when the avatar/attachment is using custom joint positions and the bone that the voice dot is "rigged" to (rigged is probably the wrong term) is in a non standard position. I can't remember which bone the voice dot is "joined" to, I think maybe pelvis?

Confirmed that the voice dot does in fact stick with the pelvis while using an animation deformer on my avatar: https://gyazo.com/82b451648e3721df32f966c99feb4473
