Hello Wendy,
Thank you for the report, I am investigating this with the team but I wanted to ask if you would be able to include your Second Life logs for a session where the issue occurs?
This page tells you where to find the logs folder: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/How-to-report-a-bug/ta-p/733545#Section_.3
Let us know as well as any other information about what specific HUDs are not showing.
Thank you.

Hi Wendy,
Also wondering if once you see the missing content in the outfit, if you clear cache and log out and log back in is the content still missing? You can clear cache in Preferences > Advanced > Clear cache.
Let us know and thank you.

Of the noted objects missing, in the few tests I performed: The HUD provided by SmartBots "SmartBots Bots Hud v6.2" and the Object provided by Legacy Meshbody "Low Foot Height Auto-Set"
I'll try and reproduce and test the Clear Cache method ASAP

I reinstalled the RC then checked my outfit, then Cleared Cache logged in again to the RC. My notes are below.
Initial log in: During my spot checks of outfits I was NOT wearing, I found ONE that was NOT missing the Legacy object, but was missing the SmartBots Hud.
Then I cleared cache and logged back in.
Second log in: The missing items were not corrected. Additionally (having remember one of my spot checks ({}other{} than the outfit I was wearing), the one that did have the Legacy object... after the Clear Cache it was now missing both objects.
Curiously I've not noticed other objects missing, certainly nothing obvious.
Logs(2) reflects todays testing.
These are the outfits that I am using to test. Note that they all and in "p!L" https://gyazo.com/ba2508232e65a78e0fedd824ef47998e

OK... logged off. went to lunch. Upon returning and logging in and checking my outfits:
NOTES: I had left my outfits display filtered to just those few outfits in the gyazo (I had not that before, just for the photo), so when I returned I looked and every outfit contained the two "missing" objects.
I had also noted that in the RC the outfits, when expanded have taken a long time to load.
OH, THIS IS NEW: even though the typical 2 objects are showing... This new one is now missing from the outfit display (it's a HUD) and not being shown: * S&H * Hug & Kiss Animator 3.0 - ReAnimated

Hi Wendy,
We have been attempting to reproduce your issue however we are not seeing it occur. Would you be able to attach a video or screenshot of the issue occurring? If you are not able to attach or comment on this jira, feel free to open a new one and we can link them to track. Or you could send the information directly to me in world to kurt.linden.
Thank you!

Kurt,
I don't know how a screenshot or even a series of screenshots (or even a video) is going to illustrate the issue I am seeing. You see, the best I can do is to do a "before" and "after" screenshot of the contents of the currently worn outfit. The "before" screenshot is going to show all of the items in the outfit (actually it won't fit on the screen without scrolling) and the "after" screenshot is going to show the same list of items minus 1 or 2.
By the way, I had an interesting thing happen yesterday that might be related. I removed an article of clothing using the "minus" hotspot on the left end of the item's line in the outfit display. The article of clothing was removed, however that was not reflected in the display, the line remained green (not white), the popup menu didn't have an Add/Wear, but rather had a Detach selection (but was not attached).
I know you must be way ahead of me on this, but could this be an Inventory issue and not a Outfits issue, or at least somewhere in the communication between them...
Could it be related so the "sizes"... 102k inventory items doesn't seem unreasonable. There are also > 500 outfits. That also doesn't seem unreasonable (to a woman) :)

Please specify, are items missing from My Outfit's folders in inventory or from appearance panel and COF only? Are original items present in inventory? After login, before changing outfits, is currently worn outfit also missing pieces? Or does that happen only when switching outfits?
The article of clothing was removed, however that was not reflected in the display Did that happen on RC or release viewer?
I don't know how a screenshot or even a series of screenshots (or even a video) is going to illustrate the issue I am seeing. Text based description often misses vital pieces. For example user might not notice that inventory is still fetching or that outfir for some reason is considered 'modified'. "outfit" also differs in context. Some say "outfit" as currently worn one, some mean an outfit in Appearance floater and some refer to non-outfit folders with outfit items in them.

OK, let me see if I can do better with terminology and clarity (what is COF?).
Let start by saying that all the time I've been saying missing from my outfit have all been from the My Outfits tab in the AVATAR (aka appearance?) window. I haven't checked the My Objects folder in the inventory window. I've been doing additional testing now referring to and comparing both with one another.
So Ill clarify further by saying that outfits in the My Outfits folder in the INVENTORY window have shown all the expected items. The outfits themselves are not corrupted in the My Objects folder in Inventory.
Also to clarify, I have switched back and forth (by performing a complete installation each time) between the current release client and the RC client and the issue has only shown itself in the RC viewer.
The issue presents itself after changing outfits and the issue is not corrected by relogging. Clearing cache also has no effect.
NEW: I found this yesterday and I believe it might be very significant. When testing and seeing "missing" objects I Wear/Add'ed those objects (by referring to the original object in inventory, not a link) but did not Save the outfit. And the strange thing is, since I've done that I cannot reproduce the issue for those two items. Switching outfits and relogging all work fine, it's as if I forced the outfit in the AVATAR window to populate! So, I've wondered about it being only an AVATAR window My Outfits tab population issue because one of the things I've seen consistently in the RC client (that I don't see in the Release client) is that if I open an outfit in the My Outfits tab in the AVATAR window within a few minutes of logging in a see only the "loading/fetching..." message. So maybe this is a clue, that it's simply a timing, delayed sort of population issue...

Thank you for clarification, this narrows it down a bit. Will see if I can find any issues in how Avatar's floater displays outfits.
what is COF? Sorry, should have clarified it. Curernt Outfit Folder in inventory ('Wearing' tab in Avatar's floater displays content of that folder).
Edit: How do items that are missing from Avatar window look in My Outfits in inventory? Do they have some text like 'broken link' near them or weird icon?
Also, please, provide a set of logs after reproducing the issue. All logs in 'logs.zip' are from release viewer, logs in 'logs (2).zip' do have the right viewer version but it looks like it was launched with fresh cache and logged before issue happened.

They appear as what I think is "normal" unworn items. They were in italic and non-bold. The link symbol was normal.
Also, please, provide a set of logs after reproducing the issue.
Roger, Wilco, will send "logs (3)".

Thank you for the logs.
Please try out this build and see if issue reproduces there and if does reproduce, relog, check if it persists and attach logs: https://automated-builds-secondlife-com.s3.amazonaws.com/ct2/118300/1014671/Second_Life_6_6_15_581773_x86_64_Setup.exe

The problem has manifested itself in: Second Life Release 6.6.15.581773 (64bit)
Logged in and Wore the outfit: Lounging: MILOTA - Eyo Set: Cropped Top, Ruffled Panties p!L
Missing from screen: the panties are not on my avatar and the HUD is not displayed: https://gyazo.com/3c41157c37e79945b4eb3e199803179d
Milota: Eyo shorts BLEND *30 [Legacy] AND SmartBots Bot HUD v6.2
These TWO items do NOT appear in the AVATAR Window, My Outfits Tab. https://gyazo.com/8817635f67ec9a3a4e85f04005d2c1af
They DO appear in the INVENTORY Window, My Outfits folder. https://gyazo.com/90c3476382f64fb75ca6907de3d25f0d
RELOGGING did not correct, changing sims did not correct. I then returned from the alternate sim to my home and r-clicked and selected WEAR and the items appeared.
Not that the SmartBot HUD has been at the center of this issue.

Hello, newer Second Life Release 6.6.15.581961 was recently deployed, does the issue reproduce there after clearing cache? Build fixed a case of some folders not starting fetching which might fetch missing content in your case.
just in case: https://automated-builds-secondlife-com.s3.amazonaws.com/ct2/118583/1016043/Second_Life_6_6_15_581961_x86_64_Setup.exe
wendi.nitely commented at 2023-09-29T17:42:31Z
should I be testing 6.6.15.581962?
AndreyK ProductEngine commented at 2023-09-29T18:11:57Z
581962 doesn't seem to be a viewer build. If viewer updated by itself, it likely got 581961, not 581962.

Oh, I see why I was confused, the Project Title was changed to: "Some outfit contents missing from both the menu and from being worn in Release Candidate 6.6.15.581692 (64bit)"
What just happened?
Upon seeing missing HUD or worn object look art the outfit contents and find them not displayed. Looking at other outfits (these items are in nearly every outfit) to locat them and in all other outfits checked they are also missing. Relogging and changing regions doesn't change the behavior.
Going back and forth between the release candidate and Release 6.6.14.581101 (64bit) shows that the issue doesnt manifest itself in the current release.
Worn objects (including HUDS) are effected. I havent noticed a BOM texture missing but have not tested this. When an object is missing from the current outfit, checking other random objects shows that it is missing in those also.
What were you doing when it happened?
changing outfits
What were you expecting to happen instead?
expected the normal behavior
