The behavior of the events dropdown on https://secondlife.com/my/ also has this problem.
What just happened?
When visiting the events calendar web page, if you change the category to something other than "All Categories" you do get what you expect. However, when you want to switch category, all options are greyed out except "All Categories" and the one you have selected. You have to go back to "All Categories" option, then reselect a new category.
What were you doing when it happened?
https://secondlife.com/my/community/events/
What were you expecting to happen instead?
It would be better to be able to select a new category without having to reset the dropdown menu by going to "All Categories."
