By can't see your character, do you mean invisible or looks like a cloud? If you are invisible, you probably have alpha layers attached. Usually if you have full body alpha, you probably are using a mesh body, in which case you'll need to attach the mesh body you were wearing. If you are not using a mesh body, or do not know, try detaching the alpha first. To check if you have alpha attached, press ctrl + o(The letter, not the number), then go to the Wearing tab. If you see a checkered shirt, right click and detach it. An example of what this will look like is below: http://crocuta.softhyena.com/support_stuff/detach_alpha.jpg

If you are seeing a cloud, This happens from time to time. The reason for it is that an required attachment is either: A) Missing/not attached, B) Not loading properly. A quick an easy fix is to go to "Avatar -> Choose An Avatar" and load a default avatar from there, then re-load your outfit again(replacing the default avatar), or remove the attachments you do not need and re-attach what you were wearing. Alternatively, you can create the following from the "New Body part" menu when right clicking a new folder and wear each of them:

I suggest disabling the developer menu when done: Toying around with the settings in there if you do not know what you are doing can cause unexpected side effects, including viewer crashes(I.E.: Force an error). If you wish to disable this, simply press CTRL + ALT + Q to toggle it back off.

Hope this helps!
