Hello Kostya,

What is the URL of the website you had the media prim set to?

Your friend Mainspirit is using CtrlAltStudio viewer which is now very outdated and uses webkit for media, rather then CEF. Some web pages will not display correctly on outdated webkit viewers.

I continue tested, when near Scoretable I (with official SL client) and other man (with Firestrom 4.7.9.50527 client) display Media Object broken (grey screen) on me and other! Why? Did not have to break the Media on object for me, only the other person, if he has any problems with the client.

Hiya Kostya,

I'm able to view https://weartoday.ru/traffic_lottery_5of36/tablo.php on a MOAP using the latest Firestorm 5.0.1 release (tested both 32bit & 64bit Windows builds) and on LL viewer Second Life 5.0.0.321958 (Second Life Release).

I'm also able to see the web page on Firestorm 4.7.9 (50527) Aug 4 2016 11:59:10 (Firestorm-Releasex64) with OpenSimulator support.

On all the viewers, and in an external web browser, not all fields of the web page are populated though and none of the buttons are responsive to clicks. Is that expected? This is what I see: http://prnt.sc/e22zwo

Is there a MOAP set up inworld that's fully working as it should?

Kyle Linden commented at 2017-01-31T18:03:29Z

Hi Kostya,

None of us are having issues displaying this on MOAP. As Whirly asked is there a set up in world where you can demonstrate this problem?

Thank you

1) This is what I see: http://prnt.sc/e22zwo You see right web page, just Object send $_GET params for view any data on web-page for any users

2) What is MOAP? http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Helsing/227/179/601 This place from first screenshoot

3) Other my friend look same error, his client VIEWER ALPHA 1.2.6.43412 Screenshoot: http://www.picshare.ru/view/7888260/ But his error not ruined my view, all OK

VIEWER ALPHA 1.2.6.43412 is CtrlAltStudio viewer. This viewer is based off a very old Firestorm codebase (from 2014) & uses the old webkit, not CEF. Webkit is no longer supported.

Your friend should update to a viewer which is still actively maintained.

I'm not seeing your MOAP object at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Helsing/227/179/601 The only media here is the parcel streaming media, which is set to a movie.

I tested your media URL on 1.2.6.43412 - https://ctrlaltstudioviewer.codeplex.com/downloads/get/1591766 I can reproduce the SSL handshake failed error on this viewer: http://prnt.sc/e2xkk6

This is nothing you or LL can fix. It's a problem caused by that viewer being outdated. The developer of CtrlAltStudio viewer will need to fix it.

Are any of your friends using the latest Linden Lab or latest Firestorm viewer seeing an SSL Handshake failed error?

Your friend in the attached image is using Darkstorm viewer, which is actually an illegal copybot viewer based again on a very old Firestorm codebase (4.6.9, the same as CtrlAltStudio). So I would also expect the SSL Handshake failed error on Dorkstorm viewer too. You should also tell that friend to uninstall Dorkstorm & change his account password asap - this viewer is known to phone home account login details & his account may have been compromised. He also risked getting his account banned for using this viewer.

Also to note, if your lottery game requires pay to play & it also pays out L$ prizes, it would be illegal to use on the grid without a skill gaming license. Details of how to apply for a skill game license can be found here:

Hello, Whirly!

I spent so much time the development and do not want to break the rules. The ticket user gets free, the owner of the location adds to the scoreboard and returns the money back to him.

Are “freeplay” games in Second Life subject to the Skill Gaming Policy? Freeplay games, in which the sole payment required or permitted is a nominal Linden Dollar payment for the sole purpose of triggering gameplay and is immediately and automatically refunded without conditions of any kind, are not within the scope of the Skill Gaming Policy.

My game is similar to Lizail BINGO https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/LIZAIL-BINGOmachine-Ver303BOX/5540304

Full description of my game: HOW TO PLAY

1) Press "Get ticket" in Scoreboard of Lottery 5 of 36 and wait required time to get the ticket. You can take only one ticket at day; 2) Attach the ticket as HUD; 3) Choose any 5 numbers and press "Register ticket". You can Register ticket only near Scoreboard; 4) Wait next draw; 5) After the draw you can attach the ticket to see you won or lose; 6) If you won, press "Take prize" icon in Scoreboard and in dialog send ticket ID. 7) Enjoy :)

FOR LAND OWNER

If you is land owner you can place Scoreboard of Lottery 5 of 36 on your land and take traffic and more interest to your location.

ATTENTION: Commission 30% to creator when you add fund to scoreboard Info - Get information about current settings in chat. Wait time - The waiting time get a ticket from 1 to 60 minutes. Format: 10 Draw time - Hours of the draws, separated by commas, with no spaces, 24 hour format, GMT-8. Format: 01:00, 05:00, 06:00, 12:00 Prize - Count L$ as prize for guess number, only 6 digits separated by commas, with no spaces (for 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 guessed numbers). Format: 1,5,10,20,50,100

Hi Kostya,

Please clarify if this problem can be seen on the official Second Life viewer by all the viewers. We cannot help with any third party viewers. As Whirly has clarified some of these third party viewers are not safe either.

For clarification on our Skill Gaming Policy please contact support: http://secondlife.com/support

Please let us know if the behavior is different on the official Second Life viewer.

Thanks
