[BUG-41442] SSO enabled for ALL Secondlife Websites #12958

How would you like the feature to work?

Since all SL websites are connected, the SSO feature on all of them would be helpful.

Having to login to each website separately is driving a lot of people crazy.

Whenever you login to My Secondlife, it should automatically log you in with JIRA / Auction / Marketplace and other websites that use the OpenID that is supplied.

Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?

It would make life a lot easier, not having to relogin each time you visit a website that isn't on the OpenID request list.

Also the ease of opening another site that is on the same Secondlife domain get a lot better

Would this change stop me from being able to be logged into the JIRA & the Marketplace or the JIRA & my.secondlife.com with different accounts at the same time? If so that would drive me crazy.

Whirly, yes, it would basically mean that you can be logged in with for example Firefox on JIRA / Marketplace and on Chrome with JIRA and My Secondlife.

No longer will you be able to be logged in with 2 seperate accounts, that's the idea behind SSO, "1 login token to rule them all"

Ahh ok. If it's still possible with different web browsers, I can deal with that :)

I just tested it with Chrome:
