[BUG-41478] a body shape that I have can no longer be found in the database #12990

Steps to Reproduce

Trying to change outfits.

Actual Behavior

I am not able to change outfits due to a body shape not being able to be found in the database.

Expected Behavior

To change into the outfit I wanted.

Heya Whitewolf,

You are currently using the RLV viewer, which is not supported by Linden Lab. I doubt changing viewer will fix this problem, but just to be sure, please test on the Linden Lab viewer and see if you have the same problem. You can download the LL viewer here: https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/

Can you rule out a region problem by logging in directly to a couple of different regions & see if you still have the same problem.

Is it only one particular shape that's giving the missing from database error or does it happen when you wear other shapes too?

If you create a new shape (open inventory and click the + button at the bottom, New body parts -> New shape) & wear this shape, does it also go missing from the database? Do you see any notifications saying "unable to save shape to central asset store" when creating a new shape?

Have you ever had Iolo System Mechanic Pro installed on your computer? This software is known to cause all shapes you create or edit to go missing from the database.
