Steps to Reproduce

The following functionality is recorded in the Release notes for Maint RC 5.0.4.324646

"Avatar Rendering & Complexity:

"We will now remember your choices of whether to render or not render certain avatars. You can set this by right-clicking on someone in-world and choosing Render avatar -> Default / Always / Never.

"Your selections can be seen (and changed) in Preferences -> Graphics -> “Exceptions…” (under) Maximum Complexity.

"We’ve also added a setting to always render your friends, regardless of complexity."

None of these functions appear to be present in the viewer / work as expected.

Actual Behaviour

  1. When right-clicking an avatar and selecting Do Not Render from the avatar context menu, avatar reverted to "Render Normally" on next log-in

  2. When checking Preferences > Graphics, no obvious "Exceptions" items / list under "Maximum Complexity". - see image A / Image B

  3. Cannot find "a setting to always render your friends, regardless of complexity" in Preferences or elsewhere

Expected Behaviour

  1. Avatar remains as grey imposter on next log-in.

  2. Would expect to see some form of "Exceptions" item / list

  3. Hoped to find the setting.

You are correct, and this should not have shown up in the Release notes yet. This feature is coming soon.
