[BUG-5298] Unable to connect to Second Life #13303

Steps to Reproduce

trying to log in. I downloaded the latest SL software on this new MacBook Air and rebooted the computer. Same issue.

Actual Behavior

Error message says "often this is a clock issue"

Expected Behavior

successful log in

the error message says to go to support and report the problem, so here you are...

Hi Maxine, it is no longer possible to login with the 1.23.5 viewer. This particular message you got about a potential clock issue may be caused by the 1.23.5 viewer shipping with SSL certificates which were valid in 2009 but expired sometime this decade.

Please try with the latest viewer ('Second Life 3.7.2 (286707) Feb 14 2014 17:33:07 (Second Life Release)') from http://get.secondlife.com

If the latest viewer and your computer clock is accurate, please attach a copy of the viewer's SecondLife.log to this jira; this page describes where to find log files: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Finding_Log_Files
