How would you like the feature to work?

Ability to back up a record or even the inventory itself in account .

It could be built in feature in accounts that residents could opt in for or a benefit for premium members or As a feature that could record inventory assets of a resident in the viewer Example. Firestorm you can back up preferences and settings of the viewer so the viewer could log a record of inventory and contents.

Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?

Yes I would like a feature that lets residents back up their inventory incase the servers lose assets that cannot be replaced with a back up those items .

Why is this feature important to me? Example would be if a resident lost 6 boxes containing $500,000 Linden dollars worth of assets that in the event customer service fails to find a solution the resident is not out years and years of investment stated just as an example to show the value of this needed feature .

How would it benefit the community? it would ensure people that whatever they own will not just disappear overnight and if they get no help from linden lab they would have tools to help themselves to some degree and could prove assets should be recovered.

This feature could be server based or viewer based depending on the degree the depth of the record would be.

Could at least be offered a feature for premium members if not viewer based.

It is very likely somewhere in the code base this feature was already written in but never released if this is the case then please make it a release in some near future project release

Other grids based on the LSL scripting language offer features close to these and they have very little or any development resources compared to Linden Research as an example

Could help with long term resident retention on several levels including higher long term stability if one is to consider the Three Degrees of Separation standard that what effects one resident will sooner or later effect hundreds if not thousands in indirect consensus of a positive or negative experience related to social structuring.
