User Story

Filing this issue for posterity even though I think repro may be difficult.

Today (11/1/2012) I entered the region, Mauve at 18:19:16 and moved from the landing point parcel to the public rez parcel then checked the prim owner's list and saw all abandoned prims. I clicked the "Return" for all others button at about 18:20:05 and immediately I started getting alerts from a HTTP communication device that url requesting was repeatedly being denied, which continued for about 40 seconds. I checked the prim owner list and saw none found, but all the prims that were supposed to return never did. This basically created the scenario described here https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-7788. I then had to reselect all these unaccounted prims for them to show up on the prim owner's list again or manually return them once selected.

Other information

I had not been in this region since 09:17:41 and there had not been any starts for the region since 07:46:41.

The last time I experienced behaviour like this caps had also failed, but didn't this time.

URL requests in the region Shiromani were repeatedly denied for one minute after I clicked the "Return" for all others button on one of two public rez parcels. Prims did return, though. Region is on main channel. This occurred within two minutes of my entry while I was on a different parcel.

Hi Lucia, thanks for including precise timestamps in your report - they really are helpful. Looking at the logs, I do see that Mauve's sim host hit a series of HTTP-related errors just after you bulk-returned some objects. I'm not sure that this problem is unique to Magnum, but it's worth investigating at any rate.
