Heya RioJosephine,
Firstly please try logging into a different region and changing your outfit and see if your avatar will rez. If your problem turns out to be limited to one specific region, then this region needs to be restarted.
If testing on a different region does not help the please can you try the following: In the top menu bar of the viewer, go to Me -> Choose an Avatar -> Classic -> Choose one of those avatars and use "Select". Your avatar should hopefully rez correctly once you have done this and you can then get dressed normally.
If this doesn't help, create a new folder in your inventory and inside this folder, place a skin, a shape, a hairbase and some eyes (non-prim). Then Right click this folder and REPLACE outfit. You must replace, not wear or add to or it wont work. If your avatar then rezzes, you can get dressed normally.

Steps to Reproduce
When I logged on for the first time today my avatar was on screen exactly how it was when i logged off last time I was logged in (early this morning i logged off around 3 am pacific time, usa). Then it seemed to disappear in to that misty white cloud it usually emerges from when I first log in and the avatar appears out of it.
Actual Behavior
When I logged on (two times I logged in, then out. Maybe around 1:30pm pacific time, usa. I am currently still logged in for the second time and my avatar still looks like a misty blob as i write this,) my avatar didn"t come out of the misty cloud phase. The Avatar just looks like a misty cloudy white blob on the screen, that can move around like my avatar.
Expected Behavior
I was sitting by the computer expecting to see my avatar appear as usual.
Other information
I am new to Second life. Love it! Thank you for such an outstanding game.
P.s. I"m not sure what this form means by 'security level". So i just selected "none". Also, I'm on my friends computer, if that matters; f.y.i. Thanks
