The land security orb prevented my investigation.

The "Ghost prim" at that location seems to be part of the "Part 3" linkset - If you edit on the light beams on the ceiling you will select "Part 3". The "ghost prim" you collide with shows as "Part 3". There are also several "phantom object" scripts in this linkset - maybe a broken llVolumeDetect(TRUE) script?

Hi Roscoe, I visited the location but didn't run into any unexpected collisions, when I walked around the floor in the vicinity of 166,157. If you still see this issue, can you give exact coordinates for where the 'ghost prim' appears to be?

The only 'unnatural' collision was with the transparent hollow cone that represents the light beam coming from the ceiling. These prims should be set to "Physics Shape Type: None" in the build tool's Features tab, if you want them to be collisionless (though be forewarned, doing so may make the linkset use the newer accounting system, which could cause the land impact to increase). Or alternatively, you could unlink the light beam cones and set them to be Phantom.

One common source of unexpected collisions is having a large sculpt in a linkset, which has a rendered shape that doesn't match its physics shape. If you still see unexpected collisions with "Part 3", what do you see for that linkset's collision shape? This guide tells you how to view the collision shape of a linkset: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Physics_Optimization#Debugging_collision-related_performance_issues

Our apologies, it appears this jira has been a victim of a spammer. We’re cleaning up the offending comments, sorry for the mess!

Thanks. I am hoping it was random.
