Premise of Need
As of 2006, the year I first became an active SL user, "According to Carl Sjogreen, who led the development of Google Calendar, there were 10 million Web calendar users and 300 million electronic desktop calendar users." With the dramatic rise in Smart Phone & Tablet use, electronic calendars are now ubiquitous. 84% of survey respondents in a recent survey on electronic calendar use indicated "Calendars are Very Important" Second Life's Event System & Group Notification System do NOT provide any personal calendar integration options.
Payoff
Incorporating the desired functionality listed above, will have the following benefits for Users, Creators/ Resellers & Linden Lab:
