[BUG-7471] Amaretto Horse Bundles Vanish Upon Attempting Rezz #15177

Steps to Reproduce

Attempting to rezz an Amaretto Bundle

Actual Behavior

I have made over 5 reports to Amaretto Breedables about their product vanishing upon attempting to rezz. Today after purchasing one of their bundles I attempted to rezz it on the land where I reside and it vanished. I have cleared my cache, rechecked my inventory, and cold rebooted my pc and the object has not returned...no error message was received.

Expected Behavior

The bundle vanished instead of rezzing.

Other information

This problem has been frequently ocuring since the October 1...I have already filed each occasion with Amaretto Breedables Ticket Filing system with little explanation from them. I now have 5 open cases with their service and NOW today a purchase I made from them directly has also vanished upon attempting to rezz. I have breeding their horses for years and have never had this problem ever before not once and now it is becoming a regular ocurance for the past week. I seriously believe this matter should be looked into as I am loosing real money over this issue and nothing is being done to correct it. I am thinking that since their most recent update there is something in their product that is making this situation to happen.

Hi Hayati, it's possible that a script in the horse is making it derez immediately or move to somewhere you can't see after you rez them.

What happens when you try to rez a horse on a parcel that disallows your scripts from running - do they vanish in that case?

Maestro, Ala Balogh has filed 5 issues which appear to be reporting this same problem with Ameretto bundles (& maybe other breedable bundles). It isn't clear if its the same problem (issues are filed in Spanish & Google translate sucks) but they do mention a few times bundles disappearing on rez. BUG-7290 BUG-7367 BUG-7420 BUG-7468 BUG-7472

It appears Ameretto had a big update recently: http://amarettobreedables.com/blogs/5/116/reposting-all-mandatory-v5-0-upd

....When a breeder purchases food/consumables a "count" is added which only allows the breeder to rez that specific amount. Because of this, they can no longer be copied due to roll backs and will break if this is attempted....

Possibly something went wrong with this update?

Hm, thanks Whirly. I know that Amaretto uses DRM (at least they did in the past), so I'm keen to check the no-scripts behavior, in case the scripts are intentionally making the objects vanish.

Sorry Maestro real life prevented me from following up here...As for your question, I have never tried to rez a live horse on a parcel that disallowed my scripts from running...so I can't answer that. As for my reports to Amaretto, they 4 of my reports due to lack of ID numbers of the bundle and its parents...which is pretty difficult to retrieve if the bundle vanished before accessing the data attached to it. Despite providing them proof of my purchase history for each ticket I filed, I got the run around about what had happened to my vanished bundles...right down to it never being registered to my account so those purchases are gone..The 5th report was made on a Limited Edition Bundle I bought directly from an Amaretto Vendor...and the owner simply replaced it with a new unboxed item instead of investigating the ticket further. In the 3 plus years that I have been dealing with Amaretto I have never once had any such issues with their product...now since their major update to version 5.0...there's been nothing but issues!
