[BUG-7510] Landing site when I use the SL Search function is incorrect, and different from the landing site I've set for my land.

Steps to Reproduce

Teleporting using the Search function listing for my land Train T21C resulted in my avatar rezzing in under water at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Train%20T21C/128/127/12

Actual Behavior

The landing point I have set up for my land is http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Train%20T21C/170/80/36. However, if I use the SL search function to find my land and then teleport to it, I'm teleported to http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Train%20T21C/128/127/12. This is under water, with some overhanging rocks above, so it is difficult to fly out of this location. (I first reported this to your support people, who identified it as a bug.)

Expected Behavior

I expected to be teleported to the landing site I have set for my land http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Train%20T21C/170/80/36

Other information

My work in SL is to develop and offer training to people. Though until now that has involved avatars created using a RegAPI that are only able to rez in on my land, I plan to begin offering training more broadly so it's now important that the search function work to bring avatars in at the established landing site.

Heya CarlaKincaidYoshikawa,

I looked up "Train T21C" in Search and there was 1 result, which was the search result for the region itself. The location always given for a region search result is the centre of the region at 128/128/128: http://i.imgur.com/AgHLy5Y.jpg

When I clicked teleport from search, I was correctly placed at your forced landing point at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Train%20T21C/170/80/37

I wonder if, because you are the land owner, you are bypassing the forced landing point on the parcel? This parcel is group owned, so possibly anyone in your group will be able to bypass the forced landing point that is set here.

Btw, you do not have "Show place in search" enabled under World -> About Land -> Options. If you enable this option on your parcel, the correct landing point location should display for the parcel in search, not the region centre.

I just confirmed that landowners are bypassing the landing point. As for Train T21C I, too, am landing at the location Whirly mentioned above.

I tried an avatar who was not a group member and the search function teleport brought her in at the landing point I have set for my land, so you are probably right that only group members are brought into that weird spot underwater (I had a group member test it and he, like me, ended up at 128/128/12, not 128/128/128. I will have a few others test it to make sure it is going to rez people in at the correct landing site and, though it's a bit strange for group members to end up in that odd location under the river, it is still not a problem as they are all experienced enough to find their way to the location they want.
