Whenever I put on an outfit it either made it a tiny version of my default character or a huge version of my default character.
Do you mean that when switching outfits, your shape got either squished short or stretched too tall? If this is the case then I suspect you are seeing the bug filed at BUG-6197 which is a known issue on the current viewers.
Whenever I put on the my little pony costume thing it would say that each part is worn on an invalid attachment.
This is probably the BUG-6487/BUG-7344 bug. If the folder you replace outfit with has a lot of attachments (those my little pony avatars do) then replacing outfit will cause a lot of the attachments to end up worn on an invalid attachment point. To work around this problem, do not replace outfit as normal - strip all attachments off your avatar that you are wearing and then add each attachment from the pony avatar one at a time. Do not use "Wear", only use "Add" for the attachments and only add one at a time or you will probably trigger this bug.
If you are only having the "worn on invalid attachment point" problem after teleporting while wearing this avatar, then this is BUG-6925.
Do those bugs explain all the problems you are seeing or do you think its something different?

Actual Behavior

What happened before the bug, to turn into a pony.
