[BUG-8150] Voice server issues #15780

Steps to Reproduce

I have tried logging in with the voice activated and not activated. Both get the same result. I live in the sim Ober which allows voice.. But I have to go to another sim relog there, till I finally load and then I can connect to the voice server......

Actual Behavior

I cannot connect to voice server the little indicator light remains yellow.

Expected Behavior

to get connected to voice server

I can confirm that Ober region currently has broken voice chat. If you login directly to Ober, voice will not connect. If you login to a different region, voice will connect and will stay connected after teleporting into Ober, as long as you do not disable then re-enable voice chat while on Ober region.

LadyPetunias, when a region has broken voice chat in this way, a region restart should fix the problem. Ober is a mainland region so only Linden Lab support can restart this region for you. You need to file a support ticket at https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ Explain the problem (you can give the link to this JIRA issue too) and support will restart the region for you.

As a workaround for now, if you need to use voice chat and voice is broken because you logged into Ober, do one of these 2 things:

Thank you i will let Bella Pointe know, I have also filed a ticket with them but I will copy this to them along with my case number so they can use it for refernce when requesting a restart. Thank you for your help!
