Derendering all objects outside the parcel seems unnecessary because those don't come into your parcel and can be blocked by a simple wall. Particles move deep into your parcel, even if objects are not allowed to enter, moving through walls and obstructing things.
How would you like the feature to work?
At the parcel level there needs to be some sort of option to prevent particles from outside the parcel being rendered inside the parcel. This is SVC-666 resurrected after the Jira upgrade mass extinction.
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
Parcel owners with inattentive neighbors don't seem to have any way to prevent particle spam griefing from spilling over from neighboring parcels. The only option is to file abuse reports and hope somebody from the abuse team cleans up the neighboring parcels, which may take far too long if you're running an event.
