[BUG-8451] Marketplace Charging incorrect amounts when the item exceeds your Linden on hand #16055

Steps to Reproduce

I was shopping on Marketplace for a castle, I found one for 15000L which in usd is about equivalent to 61 dollars. Market place knowing I did not have enough L to buy it switched automatically to other payment options and when it did it simply moved the decimal two place on the L balance a 15000 L item was saying 150.00 USD that means it marked it up 140% of the actual value of 15000 L

Actual Behavior

I went on market place looking at a castle to buy. it was 15000L I had 5000 on hand or there abouts. Market place automatically switched to other payment options and when it did the conversions were all wrong It simply moved the decimal point over 2 spaces on the Linden amount it was saying the charge for a 15000L Item would run 150.00 Well that is 140% mark up. I check in game for how much 15000 L is and it was in the ball park of 61 dollars. When I tried to buy an item that I had enough L to pay for and hit use other payment options it worked just fine. I checked this on 3 items the one Item I checked that was under my Linden Balance and I hit use other payment options displayed perfectly fine. Anything that exceeded the amount and auto switched to payment options simply moved the decimal 2 points.15000-150.00 10000-100.00 8675-86.75

Expected Behavior

I expected it to say the price would be 61-65 for the conversion fees Not say that I had to be charged 150.00 USD.

Other information

I reported this as a bug on Second Life Website they told me to report it here. Far as I can tell the bug only happens when the item costs more then the actual Linden on hand. If you have enough it works perfectly fine. its when the amount exceeds your current Balance, is when the bug is recreated. I tested this on my account my friend tested it on his account and anther friend tested it on theirs all created the same results. when the item was less then L on hand it worked fine but the moment it was more it displays the bug. I even Tested this when I had like only 49 L and it once again created the bug. the pictures I am attaching show the transaction amounts requesting to charge my paypal account. obviously I did not purchase these items when I saw the amounts.

I can confirm the behavior as well.

With a balance of 0L$ I tried to purchase my shield https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Eclipse-ESP-Shield-Matrix-System-System-T-Mesh/3082953 which is L$299.

The resulting invoice wanted to charge Paypal or a credit card with $2.99.
