This problem with the "No Media Plugin was found to handle the "text/html" mime type. Media of this type will be unavailable." notifications being spammed like this can happen if the viewer cannot find the file named slplugin.exe within the viewer install folder. The most likely cause of this is that your antivirus software has deleted or blocked slplugin.exe.
If you go into the viewers install folder, you should see a file named slplugin.exe in there. If it is missing then your security software deleted it. If it is present then your security software blocked it. If slplugin.exe is present, whitelist it with your security software. If slplugin.exe isn't present, reinstall the viewer but do not launch it. Check that slplugin is now present and add it to your security software whitelist before you launch the viewer.
The viewer needs slplugin to display avatar profiles, display search, play media inworld and display the login screen image.
I'm unsure how the slplugin problem would affect your animations playing on your avatar though. Can you get slplugin unblocked in your antivirus software and update here if that also fixed your animations problem.
