UPDATE: This is a duplicate of a feature request I created last year. I've created it as a new issue in hopes of it getting noticed again.
How would you like the feature to work?
The current my.secondlife.com website is designed for desktop only. I would like to see a responsive, mobile-friendly version of the my.secondlife.com website that looks good on mobile, doesn't require pinch-zooming, and that actually behaves like a mobile app, kind of like the mobile web version of Facebook or Twitter.
An even better option would be to create a native Android and iOS mobile app for my.secondlife.com
See attached screenshot of my.secondlife.com taken on an iPhone. Not very mobile-friendly, is it?
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
Many Second Life residents create Facebook or Google+ Accounts for their avatars, which is totally unnecessary if they would actually start using my.secondlife.com, instead. But they don't.
Why not? Well, my.secondlife.com is limited to the desktop, looks like crap, because of the badly placed obtrusive Google ads, and isn't mobile friendly.
I'm sure that more people would start using my.secondlife.com if it were mobile-friendly.
