[BUG-9696] Cant save outfits or move previously saved outfit folders #17169

Open sl-service-account opened 9 years ago

sl-service-account commented 9 years ago

Steps to Reproduce

Not being able to move folders that I have previously created in my outfit folder has began since I updated my firestorm viewer, but now even in the normal SL viewer I can not move them either. Since 2 or 3 days ago I changed my outfit, and it began saving empty folders. Not saving my outfits.

Actual Behavior

Only message I received was the red error circle when attempting to move folders I created in the outfit folder. Also when saved outfits folders are appearing empty.

Expected Behavior

I was expecting that I could successfully save my outfits and they would save correctly. I also expected that I would be able to move these folders into other created folders to allow me to sort my main outfits folder in a more appropriate way.

Heya Smackme,

The problem with being unable to move your outfit folders into other outfit folders is covered in the issue BUG-9209. This problem has been fixed upstream and will be fixed in a future Linden lab viewer and Firestorm viewer release.

The problem with being unable to save an outfit is filed at BUG-9353 This is likely caused by something you are wearing which is "bad" in some way. While using the LL viewer, can you try to save what you are wearing as an outfit and let it fail. Open your inventory and expand the Current Outfit folder, so that everything listed in there is visible and take a screenshot showing all current Outfit folder contents (and the attachment points used) and attach that image to this issue using More Actions -> Attach files.

After logging out from that session in which your outfit save produced only an empty folder, before relaunching the viewer, zip up your Logs folder & attach it to this issue using More Actions -> Attach files. This page tells you where to find your logs folder: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/How-to-report-a-bug/ta-p/733545#Section_.3

Please provide the information above before you attempt the following fix...

Does that fix your problem?

Thanks!
