I had such a case today
Most scripted translators got broken a while ago when Google added the captcha (BUG-8979).
I only know of one translator that is still working currently, which happens to be free - https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Translator-All-google-languages-free-version/7076496 There is also a gift version available for L$1 - https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Translator-All-google-languages-gift-version/7089699 There is a version available with a menu system for L$10 - https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Translator-All-google-languages-menu-version/7175140

Thanks, Whirly. I found the right HUD for the particular sample use case. There have been many other cases for other types of purchases however.
How would you like the feature to work?
In Marketplace confirmation mail, please consider adding:
A link to the original product page
Name of the seller and/or a link to the seller's store in case the product page no longer exists
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
There's no way to search order history on the Marketplace website. Stepping back through pages of order history is very slow and only advances 5 items at a time.
Say I gifted a translator HUD to a Russian friend a year or so back. Unlike most HUDs, it worked well with Russian. Today I meet another Russian who is struggling with Second Life. How do I rapidly find the specific translator HUD that worked well with Russian? I have 407 pages of order history. Manually searching could take an hour with Marketplace, or it would take 10 seconds to search "marketplace translator" in Gmail.
I had such a case today. But with the current marketplace order confirmation mail format I only get a product name. If the name is not distinctive or if the product has been renamed (eg., "translator v3" was renamed "Translator menu version") then I still don't have a way to find the product or its seller very quickly.
