Heya Goodgirl,

Do you see the Inventory & Appearance toolbar button greyed out or always highlighted in green as they would be when the windows were open? When you click the Inventory & Appearance toolbar buttons, do you hear the dunk noise as if the window is opening & closing, but you just cannot see them on screen?

Can you describe in as much detail as you can exactly what happens when you click the Inventory & Appearance toolbar buttons. If you can attach an image or a gif showing your screen when you do this, that would help. Also just to clarify, are you only having this problem with one of your accounts?

the appearance and inventory are black as normal not greyed out. no noise is heard when I press the appearance or inventory buttons. there is just no response. nothing happens when I click those buttons. this problem is affiliated with only one account

Hmm strange. The only thing I can think of isthe per-account settings for the affected account have somehow become borked. So lets try deleting the per account settings.

Does that fix the problem?
