Hiya James,

I tested voice at the location given in your system information & voice is currently working ok on this region. It looks like you are not properly connected to voice though because your system information only shows "Voice Server Version: Vivox" , it should also show the voice version number, "Voice Server Version: Vivox 4.6.0017.22050" This is usually a sign that either your firewall/security software is blocking connection to voice or the region has broken voice.

Try logging into a different region (for example Voice Echo Canyon) & see if your voice connects properly here. This is a special region for testing voice that will echo your voice back to you when you speak, so you can check that voice is working with different input/output.

Plugging in a new input/output device while the viewer is running will often not allow the input/output to be changed until the viewer is relogged too. In certain setups the computer even needs to be rebooted after plugging in another input or output or after changing the windows default input/output. So I suggest rebooting your computer if you stoll can't get voice or the input/output to work & then try again.

Also make sure that you have your Firewall correctly configured to allow access to slvoice. https://community.secondlife.com/knowledgebase/english/using-second-life-with-a-firewall-r599/

If none of the above helps: Jira is not for 1:1 personal technical support and is therefore not able to provide one to one support in a timely manner.. For account related issues, please contact support directly at https://support.secondlife.com/

Hope that helps :)

One other thing you can try: You are currently using the default release of the LL viewer from https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/ LL have an RC voice viewer, which contains many fixes for voice problems, so it's worth giving this viewer a try. You can download the voice viewer here: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_Release/5.0.8.328552
