Steps to Reproduce

I was not online when the dogs disappeared.

Actual Behavior

On the night in question, all the dogs were in place when I logged off. When I logged in on 1 Oct 17, many were now missing.

Expected Behavior

I expected the dogs to reappear at some point, but they did not, so I started to search for them.

Other information

I did not take to inventory and rez again, so I do not know what could have happened while I was offline.

Hiya Scherazade,

Just to be clear, were the dogs rezzed inworld when they disappeared rather then going missing from your inventory? Did the dogs go missing at the location given in your system information above? http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Anvil/211/76/21 (LeTigre - 17.09.22.508905) I went to that location & I see you own that parcel & there are currently 16 BioBreed dogs rezzed on that region owned by you: https://prnt.sc/gugws7 - so there should be more dogs rezzed out here?

Anvil region was last restarted on 30/09/2017 at 21.44 SLT & you found the dogs missing the next day. So I'm wondering if this could be a case of objects being returned due to the parcel being incorrectly flagged as full after the region restart, which has happened a couple of times over the last few weeks - there is actually a fix in testing for this bug on RC Magnum this week - http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes/Second_Life_RC_Magnum/17#17.09.29.509228.

If you rezzed the missing dogs out shortly before 21.44 SLT on 30th Sept, it's possible that the dogs were lost because the region crashed & restarted at the last saved sim state when the dogs were not rezzed. Lindens will be able to check whether this is the case.

Just to be sure the dogs were not returned to your inventory, can you check your Lost & Found folder to see if they are there. The dogs may be in one or several coalesced objects (icon looks like a broken rubiks cube). You'll have to rez the coalesced objects to see if they include the dogs.

Hi Whirly, Per our conversation 10/7/17, but so that we also have in print, that the dogs were already rezzed. The 16 you saw plus 18 more live dogs and about 21 or more unbirthed cages.

So, it appears there was a restart of the Anvil region at 21.44 SLT, which was after I logged out. Before I log out now, I will check again for any coalesced objects to make sure they don't include my dogs.

Thank you very much for such a speedy reply and concern in this issue. The whole ordeal is a learning experience for me.
