[BUG-139196] Missing landmarks and calling cards #2409

Open sl-service-account opened 6 years ago

sl-service-account commented 6 years ago

Steps to Reproduce

This happened over night. Just happened. No explanation what so ever.

Actual Behavior

For several days now, I have been missing for no reason what so ever my land marks (even the folder is empty but oddly the favorite list still there though no linked source) and my Calling cards, the list of people ive friended (the actual list that shows them on and off line still works) and Ive tried clearing cache inventory and browser then, in installed then full installed second life. The issue was still there, no changes. There was nothing in my trash or lost and found folder, there are things there but no what I am missing, and even if was there doesn't explain the friend list still working and missing the calling cards.

Expected Behavior

The calling cards to be there and land marks to be there when I tired the know possibly issues

Other information

No

Hiya Ono,

Can you check that your inventory filter is set to show "All Types" https://image.prntscr.com/image/aE90ET3kTdqlTLCCkYgVWQ.png

If this doesn't fix the problem, please do the following - I know you said you already tried a cache clear, but I just want to make sure.

If you still have missing inventory, please can you download & install the Linden Lab viewer from https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/ & see if your missing inventory is there. If you are still missing inventory on the LL viewer, please comment back here that the LL viewer has the same problem.

If your inventory is only missing on Firestorm viewer, please work through the relevant steps on this wiki page for Firestorm: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/fs_missing_inventory If this does not help, please contact Firestorm support directly for assistance: http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/getting_help

Thanks!

...and even if was there doesn't explain the friend list still working and missing the calling cards.

On Firestorm, the calling cards are no longer tied into the friends list, apart from to show the correct online/offline status of your friends calling cards. The LL viewer friends list does have more of a tie in with calling cards, in that if you delete all your calling cards, they will all recreate from your friends list next login.

Note that on Firestorm, if you deleted your calling cards, they will not recreate next login - that's expected behaviour. If you want to get your calling cards back in your inventory in Firestorm after you deleted them, just login with the LL viewer once.
