Heya Janet,
You have to relog after toggling RenderAttachedLights in debug settings for it to work.
If you want to toggle RenderAttachedLights without needing to relog, change the setting under Develop -> Rendering -> Render Attached Lights.
I'm unsure if toggling the debug setting is supposed to require a relog to work. This behaviour is very old though, 1.23 has the same behaviour.
Steps to Reproduce
trying to suppress a giant face light.
Actual Behavior
Turned off flag. Light still visible (see picture)
Expected Behavior
i expected not to see it
Other information
have observed on other avatars. teleported out and back, light still there. see picture.
