I would love to see folder and item counts for every folder as an option. The folder count would read only the next folder level (subfolder) not count folders down the tree.
My Inventory folder contains hundreds of folders and my Objects folder contains probably a hundred folders so it would be helpful to have it for each, not just a total for all inventory.
Maybe the folder and object count can be queried upon folder select and show to the right of the folder name during selection.
How would you like the feature to work?
Inventory currently only displays total object count. Consider adding:
Also include object count per folder (maybe as a hover tip if UI space is limited.)
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
Total inventory count is currently misleading as it does not report on folders Total number of folders is equally impacting to inventory load times as total number of objects
