(thank you for a well written jira and the image!)
How would you like the feature to work?
Hello,
If this has already been addressed, my apologies! Thank you for implementing bento left and right ring finger attachment points! As a jeweler, this is priceless. :)
I am wondering if you could create more attachment points for the other fingers? (please see attached pic)
Metacarpal bones (for rings) Left/Right Thumb Left/Right Index Left/Right Middle Left/Right Pinky
...and upper parts of the fingers Proximal phalanges (more rings) Middle phalanges (more rings) Distal phalanges (for mesh nails)?
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
This would liberate new jewelers from having to beg for mesh body developer kits for fitting/rigging, where results aren't always optimal, including customer inability to modify (I like to allow customers to modify my non-transfer jewelry). It can also reduce the amount of kits, mesh body creators understandably give out reluctantly.
I think overall, this will facilitate competition, and generate more customer sales as it will provide vastly wider options for more people in general. At the moment, only a select few are granted dev kits at the mesh body creator's personal discretion, and lack of competition produces far fewer design and style choices for the SL community.
