[BUG-203042] Unable to reach Aditi or Agni. I am taken to secondlife://util.aditi.lindenlab.com/secondlife/Ungren/103/149/76 #3268

Steps to Reproduce

I was expecting to teleport to Preview Grid. I used the Second Life Beta menu option after pressing Ctrl + Shift + G The options have changed Aditi and Agni are no longer on the options

Actual Behavior

I tried to access the Preview Grid as I had before and the sites I went to on Agni are no longer available to me . I was teleport to the Urgen instead. My inventory seems fine I repeated got this and it was working fine. I looked on wiki and found http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Preview_Grid where it said I should update my credentials here under terms https://secondlife.aditi.lindenlab.com/my/account/ip/accept.php when i went here this was not checked so i checked it even though I had access before. I cannot teleport away from this Urgen site and think my account has been changed without my permission as it was previously all working.

Expected Behavior

I was expecting to login to Preview Grid as I had done normally before.

Hi VirtualKitten,

Thank you for the report. It looks like you are trying to connect to Aditi and actually are at Ungren, a Safe Location, there. If you intend to test things on the preview grid, you may directly log in to Morris. The url indicates that you successfully logged in on aditi.

I understand you have worked with someone to investigate this issue. Could you try login to Morris directly, please?

Hi Celeb, thank you for your response. It will not teleport me to Aditi which was set at my home this had been working previously . One day a month ago it too me to Urgren . There seemed to be no place that could be reached by TP. My inventory was complete . I tried using sand boxes an they could not be reached.. I have no Morris login on my Grid menu sorry so unable to login. I just have Secondlife beta with no Aditi in brackets or Agni in brackets.

I tried to login with my Grid set to Secondlife Beta and supplied secondlife://Aditi/secondlife/Morris/204/201/34 as the region

This took me straight back to Unrgen (Safe Area)

Interesting! let me look at the logs, presuming you just logged in on Ungren on 2/7

I still cannot login to Second life beta at all and end up up at a work place, which I can rez . This does not appear to have been fixed . This means I have to load my mesh into main grid without testing it placing an unfair financial burden.

What actually happens when you attempt to login to Aditi? Is this work place where you can rez on Agni or Aditi?

Can you try to login directly to one of the regions currently in green on the Aditi grid tool here: http://aditi.coreqa.net/gridtool.php

Just reading through this issue & comments again, I have a suspicion of what may be wrong. Your system information shows you are using the OpenSim build of Firestorm, which handles login to other grids in a slightly non intuitive way, once you have login information saved. This is because the OpenSim build supports non-Second Life grids too.

So just to be sure that this isn't the problem:
