[BUG-216347] i seem to have a bug , can not join any group chat rooms #3741

Steps to Reproduce

Was just trying to join the chat room

Actual Behavior

I tried to join BIOBREEDS chat room an all i keep getting is this message :;;[19:24] Unable to start a new chat session with BioBreeds. Error making request, please try again later.

Expected Behavior

be able to go n an chat with my friends there

Other information

yes all chat rooms are lagging

Hiya Rosie,

The BIOBREEDS group (11e911bf-a4ba-3726-7dff-daf0a94dca8e) has chat disabled for the Everyone role. They have a bot that will sweep through new members & give them the ability to join group chat once per hour.

If you attempt to open the Biobreeds chat before the bot has added you to the chatters role, you will get the message "Unable to start a new chat session with Biobreeds. You do not have this ability" followed by "Unable to start a new chat session with Biobreeds. The session initialization has timed out".

So if you have only just joined this group, you need to wait a bit.

You said "all chat rooms are lagging". What are the names of other affected groups?
