Hi, thanks for looking into this. And sure! These are the items in my cart now that I cannot "Check Out". I just tried again a few minutes ago and I get the same message saying sorry come back later.

I made a purchase yesterday as a gift and instead of it going to them it was delivered to me. I contacted the owner of the store and he cant help me as it was a marketplace purchase. I contacted live support on this issue and they directed me to here and to file a ticket

Five items from a single builder were gifted and one was delivered to the avatar the rest were sent to me.

Hmm, well, when I clicked the orange "Check Out" button just now (1:17pm PST/SL Time; Jan 25, 2019) I did NOT get the "Sorry to keep you waiting" bug message. It took me to the payment page as it should.
However, since I'm seeing reports now (above) about gift purchase getting sent back to the original buyer instead of to the person you're gifting it to, I think I'm a little apprehensive about trying to buy anything, lol. I would hate to lose money due to an error. I do purchase a lot of items for friends almost every week, so I totally understand the frustration being felt by others right now.
I appreciate that your team is working on a fix though. Thank you. I'll keep checking back for updates from you guys to make sure its completely fixed.
Btw, to reiterate: yes the original "Sorry to keep you waiting" message is gone. However, please keep in mind that it was gone for about a day and a half last week too, then the problem came back. i love not getting any info .. just told to wait .. meanwhile my friend I was sending something too doesn't get what she needs and I have useless items in my inventory.. I specifically made sure the gifts were for her .. NOPE i got them when I checked out .. can't even find out if i will get the ls back or she will get the items.. if I knew I could send her the money to buy herself .. so much for support I did a support chat and their response was giving me this link ..NOTHING else ..

Update: I just bought a gift for a friend, about 10 minutes ago (it's 3:08pm SLT/PST) and it arrived to their inbox without a problem. I spoke to a friend about it and he has never encountered this issue and he's been playing for about 6 years now. So it appears that this bug, or whatever it is, is just randomly hitting different people on different days. Not sure if that helps at all, but just wanted to let you guys know. For me, gifts and everything else seems to be working properly again. I can't speak for anyone else who has been reporting the issue though. Hope it's working for them too. Thank you so much for all your help. I really appreciate it.
What just happened?
Hello, I opened a ticket with Linden Labs several days ago about an issue I am having with the Market Place; they sent me to you guys. Problem: On Jan. 18th & 19th, every time I would go to Check Out, instead of getting sent to the payment page, I'd get sent to an error page that says "So sorry to keep you waiting. We'll be right back!"

I can tell you that, according to my Facebook conversation logs, on Saturday Jan 19th at 1:34pm SL Time (Pacific Standard Time also) I was trying to check out and unable to because of the error message. I hadn't been able to Check out of the market place the day before either. So I was asking a facebook friend if he was having the same issues and he said he was not. Later, however, through the Second Life forums, I found out that others are in fact having the same issue. The problem persisted all through out the day until Jan. 20th.
On Jan 20th & 21st the issue seemed to have temporarily resolved itself. I was able to Check Out and pay for items on Sun Jan. 20th early in the morning . But then later when I tried again on the evening of Mon. Jan. 21st, the problem had started again. I just checked right now, Tues. Jan. 22nd (11:57am SL/PST) and the Check Out is still not working.

So, if its a bug, I hope you guys can fix it. As trivial as complaining about this particular issue may sound, I'm sure a lot of SL players would appreciate your help with it. Someone in the SL forum thread I linked above even joked that sales had been slow this week because of it, so who knows, it might actually be negatively affecting people's MP businesses too. Some Market Place Sellers could be losing money over this random bug and they don't even know.
What were you doing when it happened?
I was shopping online through the Second Life Market Place. I was using Chrome, as I always do. But I also tried using Firefox to see if it was a browser issue, but I got the same error message saying "So sorry to keep you waiting. We'll be right back"
What were you expecting to happen instead?
I was expecting to be taken to the usual payment page so I can pay for my items and "check out". Instead I get stuck on a page telling me to come back later.
Other information
I use Firestorm to log into Second Life. However, this issue is not occurring inside of second life, it is happening in the Market Place online, thru any internet browser that I've tried including Chrome & Firefox.
