Could not comment on BUG 9962 but I wanted to add that with Complexity set to max, teleporting to a new region with avatars that have not been in my field of view previously some avatars still do not render fully.

Hi Seanabrady,

Will you please attempt to reproduce this issue with the latest version of the Quick Graphics project viewer released this morning. Then let us know if it is still happening.

Thanks!

Kyle. I visited two regions after upgrading to Second Life 3.8.4 (304761). In both cases whether avatar complexity is set to no limit before arriving or changed to after some avatars remain as jelly babies in my field of view. I uploaded 2 pictures, from the two regions with two different avatars still jelly babies with the no limit option set in advanced prefs. It does appear that distance to the avatar has an effect....some avatars that render as jelly even when set to unlimited will rez correctly as I step further away.

This appears to be fixed for me on Second Life 3.8.4 (304761) Sep 2 2015 13:29:34 (Second Life Project QuickGraphics). I do see what Sean notes above though. If you change Avatar Complexity to No Limit and do not move camera or your avatar, no matter how long you wait, some jellybabies will persist. Once you move camera or avatar, the jellybaby avatars are then rendered normally.

I have been out and about today using Second Life 3.8.4 (305063). I apologize I was away for a few weeks. This issue without question persists for me. Unless I take the step to mark people to always fully render I will end up with jellybabys avatars. I created a new saved settings profile. Settings are on Ultra and the slider is all the way to the right for Maximum Complexity. Regardless I still have unrendered Jelly Babies in my view.

Cross posted on BUG-9962

I'm also seeing lots of stuck Jellybabies on Second Life 3.8.4 (305063) Sep 14 2015 14:14:18 (Second Life Project QuickGraphics) when Max Complexity = No Limit. This really did seem fixed for me on the earlier build but maybe I was just lucky.

It doesn't matter how long you wait, the jellybabies never render normally unless you leave Max # non-imposters set to No Limit or right click -> Always Render Fully.

Example: http://prntscr.com/8jdo6i Whirly_new.log attached from that session where I took the snapshot. In my image, the green jellybaby is Quantie Resident & the blue jellybaby is Aleisha29 Resident (incase names are needed for the log).
