Note that at least in my case this is actually worse than the pre-bugsplat behavior - it used to be you could pin the executable by doing pin-to-taskbar on its shortcut, now that doesn't work either.
What just happened?
Installed and ran the SL viewer. Right clicked on icon. Pin to taskbar option was not present.
What were you doing when it happened?
Installing and running the SL viewer.
What were you expecting to happen instead?
Pin to taskbar option should have been present.
Other information
There are several ways to acccess a windows application, and normally pin to taskbar is available for all of them.
Find an application in the start menu and right click it.
Exactly which of these cases will work seems to vary by machine. Nat and I got slightly different results in testing, but neither of us saw all cases working.
