It sounds like you didn't unpack the box the outfits came in. Follow the steps on https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Opening-boxes/ta-p/700185 Does that fix the problem?
Steps to Reproduce
Trying to adjust the appearance settings for my Avatar so she would be able to wear this costume. All that happens is the entire outfit display box goes on my Avatar, not the actual outfit itself.
Actual Behavior
I'm unable to put a free outfit on my Avatar
Expected Behavior
I was expecting my Avatar to be wearing this outfit.
Other information
Yes something like this also happened when I was trying to put a free gown on my Avatar over at 'Frank's Place'.
