[BUG-228016] Mouselook freezes in downward facing position when external monitor is attached to Macbook #6184

What just happened?

I pressed M to enter Mouselook (worked). I moved the mouse in any direction (up or sideways, doesn't matter) to look around => point of view seamlessly flips to looking at the ground. Now my mouselook view is frozen in that I am always looking at the ground and I cannot "lift my head" again. When using the mouse to move my head up nothing happens. Moving the mouse sideways works though, point of view rotates but keeps looking at the ground.

What were you doing when it happened?

I moved the mouse sideways or upwards after having entered the mouselook view. I tested this with any direction, it happens identically for all of them.

What were you expecting to happen instead?

I expected my point of view to move sideways or upwards to the sky. Instead it instantly flipped to the ground and stayed there.

Other information

The problem happens only when I have an external screen attached to my Macbook. When I unplug the screen, the problem disappears.

Thank you for the report Yngui,

This sounds similar to BUG-6010 or SL-5628. I have a few questions.

When you have the external monitor connected, is the macbook screen also on? I assume Second Life is on the external monitor, right? Is HiDPI enabled? That's in Preferences > Graphics > Advanced Settings... > Enable support for HiDPI displays.

Does setting the debug setting DisableMouseWarp TRUE fix this issue?
