[BUG-10335] Viewer reload, flashing / flickering Windows 10 with Raedon R7 GC, updated graphics driver #674

Steps to Reproduce

It settles down when I don't move, but as soon as I click something or move it begins to flash.

Actual Behavior

I just bought a decent new computer and installed SL - I am on Windows 10 with a Raedon R7 Graphics card, 8GB ram, quad-core processor.

The entire viewer flashes and seems like it's reloading every 5 seconds. I can run SL on Ultra with no lag, no operating issues apart from this screen flashing issue. It's like a strobe light. It settles down when I don't move, but as soon as I click something or move it begins to flash.

I tried updating the graphics driver, it suggested Catalyst on the AMD site. I also tried different graphics settings, like lowering it all the way to basic and removing shadows and such, they don't help.

It's quite frustrating as I am a FT merchant and it makes it impossible to work. Any clues?

Expected Behavior

No flashing.

Other information

I do not have this issue with any other games, or software, or web browsing. It only happens in SL. I have tried using Ethernet / Lan first and then Wifi, no change. I downgraded the graphics driver, no change. I tried Firestorm, still flashes. I even tried an older version of Firestorm. I also checked my monitor settings and driver and they are fine.

Have you tried setting Advanced Lighting Module ALM to off/unchecked?
