Heya Shippo,

I see you only joined Second Life today so you are likely to still be wearing the rigged mesh starter avatar you were given when you signed up. Most of the clothing at the Freebies place you gave above is classic style clothing which is not compatible with a rigged mesh avatar.

The rigged mesh starter avatars are not really made to be customisable and the best thing you can do is to get rid of that avatar as soon as possible and switch over to using a classic avatar. In the top menu bar of the viewer, go to Me -> Choose an avatar -> Classic, click "Select" on any of these avatars to wear it. The clothing you got from the Freebie place should then work.

http://www.caledonoxbridge.org/guardian/2014/08/02/avatars-reload/ This is a very good tutorial for new players explaining how to mod your avatar and it explains the difference between the rigged mesh starter avatars and the classic avatars.

If you need further help with getting outfits to work on your avatar, you can ask a question on Answers (https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Answers/qac-p/Answers) or on the forum (https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Forums/ct-p/Forums) or you can contact Linden lab support directly at https://support.secondlife.com/contact-support/

Hope that helps :)
