[BUG-230371] sims fail to upload properly #8069

What just happened?

Logged onto second life a few times now and the sim and avis do not render properly. They all look speckled and broken down in their constituent colours, dotty Some avis and parts of the sim upload all right but the majority stay unrendered. Looks like I've taken bad drugs.

What were you doing when it happened?

Nothing

What were you expecting to happen instead?

To be able to see sims and avis as they are meant to be

Other information

This happens on all sims I have visited and not a specific one.

That is a rather trippy looking picture!  I agree with you about the "bad drugs"!  :)

"Some residents may be seeing texture corruption in the viewer (rainbow colors everywhere). This is caused by the viewer rollback yesterday. Please clear the viewer's cache (Me> Preferences->Advanced->Clear Cache) to fix the issue. We’re very sorry for this extra colorful side effect!"
