[BUG-230941] Add a store blocklist to the Marketplace #8503

How would you like the feature to work?

As a user I would like to block listings by certain creators. Sometimes the thing you buy is not what you expect it to be. Other times the things you buy may be ripped mesh from AAA titles.

At the Store page; Under "Add To Favorite Stores" add the option "Add to Blocked Stores" At the item page; Under "Flag this item" add the option "Add to Blocked Stores"

If a user clicks "Add to Blocked Stores" a confirmation prompt is presented.  Once a store is added to the block list, none of their content shows up for me as a user on the marketplace.

Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?

When users search for content, the same merchants with shady products keep showing up, and it's hard to find what I actually want, when said certain creators dominate the results.

this would make browsing the marketplace SO MUCH more pleasant. being able to block those who sell ripped content, gacha stuff in the wrong categories and endless other MP annoyances.

 

please make this a thing.

I love this idea too. Some sellers have muted you inworld, for this reason you can no longer buy anything from them on the Marketplace. Then you can also hide these stores. In addition, there are stores where I would not buy anything on principle. I would also hide them.

I agree on this feature, as do others in Fox Hollow.
