[BUG-231007] [Viewer-UI] The new find original behaviour on links is non intuitive, confusing and horrible #8556

What just happened?

I tried to use "find original" on a link. Previously, it would go straight to the target, no fuss.

Now however,

1 - it can take up to 5 seconds to find the original. It is painfully slow 2 - The inventory window scrolls up to the top, back to where you were, and then to where the target is in an eye hurting manner 3 - the target is always located in the first inventory window, no matter where you try to find it from. I thought the function was completely not working the first time I tried this

What were you doing when it happened?

I was trying to organise my inventory

What were you expecting to happen instead?

I expected the find original to find the original quickly and cleanly IN THE WINDOW in which I was doing it

Other information

This is the most appalling and non intuitive piece of user interface.

I certainly did not expect, and I honestly doubt many people would expect, for an operation in one window to cause a completely different window to display what you are looking for. It took me three tries to work out that the functionality wasn't completely not working, just being incredibly user unfriendly.

The way the inventory window scrolls around just adds insult to injury

this is about to have its first birthday. Is someone going to look at it please? It is driving me to distraction, as I use links a whole lot to keep my inventory organised.
