Isn't it less hassle to provide a demo so the customer can answer their own questions?

How would you like the feature to work?
We would have a section on product pages on the marketplace dedicated to Customer's questions and answers.
Someone who has not purchased the product would be able to post questions about the product. Eg. 'Does this work with ...?' 'What is the land impact?' things to that affect.
The merchant and people who have previously purchased the product would be able to answer the question.
Merchants would have somewhere central to see unanswered questions and be notified one way or another of new questions.
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
Customers are more likely to purchase a product if their questions are answered, often other customers who have previously purchased a product will be able to answer in lieu of the merchant who may not be available to answer questions.
This system of questions and answers is quite typical of online marketplace systems for example Amazon uses this system, Argos in the UK etc.
