[BUG-231157] Requesting Creation of two new subcategories in the Vehicles Category: Vehicle Accessories and Vehicle Paints #8681

How would you like the feature to work?

I'd like people who are looking for enhancements to their vehicles, or accessories for them, to be able to find them associated with vehicles. For example, they should be able to find motorcycle helmets with motor cycles, or air cargo pods with aircraft or paints for their cars with cars.

Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?

Vehicles are a big part of the SL community and a big market with many creators. As the content of the Marketplace grows, it becomes harder and harder to search very general categories for very specific items. Yes, a motorcycle helmet is a hat, but its a very specific kind of hat associated far more closely with the vehicle in particular than hats in general. Today, vehicle accessories and equipment are listed in categories all across the Marketplace and there is a great deal of confusion among creators about where they belong category wise. This increases LL workload to review listings, reduces sales and revenue for creators and LL and frustrates potential customers.

Its not just a better organizing principle, it will help community members easily see the full scope of the possibilities of the SL vehicle experience within one category. That has potential trickle down benefits not just for creators of vehicle related products, but for landowners with airports, marinas, racetracks and other vehicle related facilities too.
