What just happened?

I operate a live music club in Second Life. A musician cancelled the show an hour before it was scheduled to start. I should be able to edit the event to indicate that it was cancelled but get and error message that I can't schedule and event less than two hours before it will start. I was not scheduling an event, only indicating that it was cancelled.

What were you expecting to happen instead?

That the edit, adding the word "CANCELLED" to the even title would be accepted.

Second Life venues that feature live music are costly to the venue operators. Mine costs me in excess of $4,000 US a year. Live music venues provide one of the most appealing benefits of Second Life and those of us who operate them are in effect supporting Linden Labs. Yet Linden Labs consistently makes operating such venues difficult and more expensive. And there is absolutely no forum in which to get any of these concerns heard.
