How would you like the feature to work?
Hi there,
I would like to be able to link to the following and have any click-throughs registered as affiliate referrals:
second life maps (SLURLS), etc.
Ideally, linking to any Second Life property/page, with further navigation resulting in a sign-up should be counted as a referral. We should not be limited to linking only to the home page or pre-defined landing pages.
Please allow us to create our own custom deep-links through the Second Life / Commission Junction Affiliate Program.

Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
Blogging about Second Life, linking to community, destination or map pages and having that included in the tracking for referrals would encourage affiliates to share more of what can be shared.
Limiting affiliate tracking to the pre-defined landing pages is not ideal and discourages affiliates from linking to anything else.
Commission Junction does provide the ability/platform for creating deep-links, it just needs to be enabled/allowed from the advertiser's side. Please get in touch with Commission Junction and update the Second Life Affiliate program to allow the creation of custom deep-links on all secondlife.com domains and sub-domains.
