[BUG-232055] The elimination in search engine of any means to identify the popularity of sites makes it harder to find & meet new people to socialize on Second life which is the main reason most of us are here, #9411
When you look for places/locations, the search engine ideally would indicate how many people are currently in world at the time of the search at each site displayed or alternatively, though less effective how popular a site is generally in terms of total monthly traffic. (This may be less necessary for stores than social venues and clubs, although even for stores it would indicate how popular a store was. For meeting and social venues it is essential.
Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?
The main reason most people come to second life is to meet and interact with new people. This is now more difficult almost impossible because the search engine no longer indicates which sites are popular or currently have people in world. It is even more frustrating for new people I suspect who end up going to one empty location after another looking to find people to make friends and decide to give up on looking for people in frustration.
