[BUG-232058] Voice to Text feature for the Deaf #9414

How would you like the feature to work?

I would love to see a feature so that the Deaf community of Secondlife could particiapt in Live on SL Voice talking events. There are programs like Dragon diction Voice to Text, could something like that be adapted for use in the SecondLife viewer?

Why is this feature important to you? How would it benefit the community?

This is important to me because it was brought to my attention that the Deaf community of Second Life can never take part in Voice chat only events such as many of the Second Life Birthday events, Poetry, live talking events and other such activities.

Hello Roxksie,

We are interested to explore this feature request but would like to know if there is a best practice out there that we could model from. Do you have any examples of games or virtual worlds where this problem has been solved?
