[BUG-10639] [CoreHTTP] Being logged off automatically after TP'ing to one or two locations. #947

Open sl-service-account opened 9 years ago

sl-service-account commented 9 years ago

Steps to Reproduce

Attempting to TP from one location to another

Actual Behavior

Depending on how long I've been at a location, when I attempt to TP, the meter showing the status of my TP gets sluggish and eventually stops half way then I get logged-off. It has happened over the past several days

Expected Behavior

was expecting to be TP'd to my chosen location

Other information

If I should click "Cancel" when the meter slows or stops I continue to stay at my present location and all other avatars have disappeared

Heya PassionateVet,

There have been quite a few people reporting teleport disconnects on the viewer version you are currently using. Can you remember if this problem started with the viewer update?

You said the TP problem depends on how long you have been at the location - do you usually only get disconnected when you have been at a location for a certain length of time and then attempt to teleport?

Please can you reproduce the teleport disconnection problem and once the viewer disconnects, quit the viewer. Then before relaunching the viewer, zip up your logs folder & attach it to this issue using More Actions -> Attach files. You will find the Logs folder here: C:\Users\ [USERNAME] \AppData\Roaming\SecondLife\logs. This page gives more detailed instructions for finding the logs folder: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/How-to-report-a-bug/ta-p/733545#Section_.3

Once you have attached your logs, if you install the default release viewer from https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/, does this fix the teleport problem?
